REFORMER PILATES
We’re excited to announce the launch of our brand new Virtual Reformer Pilates spaces!
These new areas offer on-demand reformer Pilates workouts designed for all fitness levels – from beginners to seasoned pros. Whether you’re looking to build strength, improve flexibility, or just try something new, reformer Pilates offers a full-body, low-impact workout using resistance-based machines to challenge and support your movement.
What is Reformer Pilates?
You may have heard about the fitness craze that is Reformer Pilates and wonder “What is Reformer Pilates?”. Reformer Pilates involves the use of a Pilates reformer machine to give a more intense and dynamic workout than mat based Pilates. Reformer Pilates allows participants to add resistance to Pilates exercises with the springs, which form part of the machine. The exercises usually work muscles through a large range of motion, which is ideal for building and toning muscles as well increasing stability through the joints. With Reformer Pilates you are able to work more areas of the body than traditional mat work Pilates, over time this helps give participants a long lean appearance.
What you need to know:
Virtual Reformer Pilates is free and included in our Health Club memberships. Members can access the reformer spaces at any time while our health club is staffed. During peak periods, the reformer beds will be bookable through the BlueFit Health Club App to ensure fair access for all members. When booking is required, sessions will be limited to 45 minutes per person.
What to bring:
To enjoy your session comfortably, please bring your own headphones to connect to the system and follow along with the virtual instructor. You must wear Pilates grip socks for hygiene and safety, or you may choose to go barefoot if you prefer. Please also bring a bottle of water, as no other food or drinks are permitted in the studio.
New to Reformer Pilates?
If you’ve never tried reformer Pilates before, don’t worry – we’ve got you covered. There are beginner-friendly videos available to help guide you through how to set up and use the machines. Our friendly trainers will also be on hand to assist you with getting started and to answer any questions you may have.
How do I book?
All classes listed on the Group Exercise Timetable require a booking, which can be made via the BlueFit Health Club App.
How do I use virtual reformer pilates?
Conditions of Use

Socks Required – Grip socks must be worn at all times. No shoes in this space.

Booking Required – Use the BlueFit Health Club app to reserve your bed during peak times.

Watch Our Intro Video – All new users must view the “Introduction to Pilates” video before starting.

Use Equipment Correctly – Don’t adjust machine settings unless you’re confident. Ask staff if unsure.

Exercise Safely – Skip exercises that feel unsafe or unfamiliar.

Medical Considerations – If pregnant, injured, or managing a condition, consult your doctor first and notify staff.

Respect the Space – Keep noise to a minimum. No phone calls or disruptive behavior.

Clean Equipment After Use – Please wipe down the reformer and any accessories you’ve used.

No Food or Drinks – Only bottled water is allowed.
