As the cooler months approach and our outdoor swimmer numbers decline more than 40%, the Centre will be adjusting our outdoor pool operating hours in order to reduce environmental impact and support our Centre's sustainability goals. During off-peak times, pool blankets will be placed on the outdoor pool to help retain heat and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Starting from 28th April 2025, revised operating hours will be inplace for the outdoor 50m pool.

Weekday Hours (Monday – Friday):
- Open: 5:30 AM – 10:00 AM
- Closed: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Open: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Weekend Hours (Saturday and Sunday):
- Open: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Closed: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM
We understand that the revised outdoor pool hours may affect some of our regular lap swimmers. To help you plan your visit, our online lap lane availability tool shows how many lanes are available in each pool at Lane Cove throughout the day, so you can make an informed choice about the best time to swim, whether indoors or out.
