As part of our ongoing commitment to making Lane Cove Aquatic Centre more environmentally sustainable, we are in the final stages of installing an upgrade to our energy metering system at the centre.
This project has been undertaken with the assistance of a grant from the NSW Government. The improved metering will allow us to measure energy usage within the centre to help us locate the items of plant and equipment within the building that have the highest energy usage.
This information will be used to help us target improvements to plant replacement, with the specific objective of reducing our carbon footprint and allowing Lane Cove Aquatic Centre to provide a sustainable service to the community for many years to come.
