In Australia, one in four young people experiences a mental health difficulty. But only 30% of those who need help actually get it. After friends and family, the internet is the first place young people turn to for information and support. That’s where ReachOut comes in. All funds raised in Laps for Life will assist ReachOut in delivering a vital service to all young people so that they can get the support they need.
Lane Cove Aquatic member Geraldine Radzim is an avid swimmer and passionate about helping people. This March Geraldine is participating in Laps for Life to raise funds for ReachOut Foundation supporting mental health amongst young people, a topic so very dear to a lot of us.
