To the wonderful community of Lane Cove,
What a year we have had at Lane Cove Aquatic Leisure Centre!! Our first full year back from the COVID lockdowns has handed us a lot of challenges to juggle, which have all been made easier to deal with by seeing so many happy faces in and around the facility. Along with the tough times, we have also been fortunate enough to have plenty of fun times! The following are just a couple of the recent events held here at Lane Cove Aquatic Centre:
Lane Cove Youth Orchestra Christmas Performance:
Lane Cove’s Youth Orchestra held their “Splash into Christmas” performance around our 25m pool. We had an incredible 100+ people attend. A special mention to the orchestra’s president, Lyndall McNally, for all of the hard work behind the scenes to make this all possible.
Aqua Christmas Party:
We were lucky enough to host the Aqua Christmas Party, celebrating a year of fun and fitness. It was great to see so many of our ‘Aqua crew’ enjoying a bit to eat and giving thanks to our amazing instructors. A special thank you to our aqua regulars Karen & Richard Muller for organising everything, and to our own Assistant Manager, Rosie, for making sure everything ran smoothly. A further thank you to all who attended and made 2022 a wonderful year!
