Lane Cove put on an unforgettable show of community spirit for the 2026 Waves of Change event, supporting the BlueFit Foundation with enthusiasm and heart.
The day saw 927 laps completed in the 50m pool, an impressive 46.35km’s swum, with participants of all ages jumping in to make a difference. With sunshine overhead, music pumping, and a strong sense of community throughout the centre, the event was as fun as it was impactful.
Beyond the pool, the Aqua Aerobics crew brought the energy, while volunteers kept the good vibes going all afternoon. From swimmers to supporters, everyone played a role in turning laps into life changing opportunities.
Together with BayFit Leisure Centre, the event raised over $12,700, helping fund essential swimming and sport programs for children and communities in need.
