Each September, Lane Cove Council celebrates everything that is great about living in Lane Cove with an annual month-long program of community and Council-run activities.
Lane Cove Festival celebrates the vibrant and diverse community of Lane Cove. The Festival will present over 50 events run by local community groups and Council, the wide range of events will celebrate Lane Cove’s diversity, love of the Arts, creative expression, appreciation of its natural environment and viable ways of creating a sustainable community.
This long-standing festival has been running since 1992 and has increased in size and attendance, this year they will celebrate 30 years!
With 40,000 people calling Lane Cove home, including a diverse range of community groups, there is a lot to celebrate in this vibrant and active community. The festival provides an opportunity for community groups to raise their profile in the area, connect with audiences and receive free publicity for the work they do.
